iPhone Duo Wallpapers

The Apple iPhone Duo has a 7.6" main display (2670×1878) and a 5.4" outer display (1398×2034). A foldable needs more than one wallpaper: the inner and outer displays have different shapes and aspect ratios, so a single image fits neither — and iOS keeps the Dynamic Island and Dock along the sides of the inner display.

Wallpaper sizes per screen — downloads come pre-sized, no cropping needed:

Inner Display
7.6" · 2670 × 1878 · ≈10:7
Outer Display
5.4" · 1398 × 2034 · 2:3

The inner and outer displays are different shapes — each gets its own set of wallpapers, composed separately for iOS.

The iPhone Duo main display is 2670×1878; the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 main display is 2448×1848 — because the two devices have different pixel dimensions, a wallpaper made for one does not fit the other without cropping. See the Galaxy Z Fold 8 wallpapers.

How to set wallpapers on the iPhone Duo

The inner and outer displays are different shapes, and each display has its own wallpapers from the same series — every one drawn on that display's own canvas, so neither side is a crop of the other. iOS 27 sets wallpapers from the same place you set any iPhone wallpaper.

  1. Save the image first: touch and hold it, then choose Save to Photos.
  2. Open Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper → Photos, and pick the image you just saved.
  3. Adjust the crop, tap Add, then tap Customize Home Screen if you want the Home Screen and Lock Screen to differ (Set as Wallpaper Pair uses the same image on both).

The steps above are the standard iOS 27 wallpaper path (per Apple's support documentation). How the two displays pick up separate images has not been published by Apple — we will update this section with Duo-specific behavior once we can test a shipping unit.
